This book is a compilation of articles that tell the background story of Roger Ulrich's own transition that led to a return to the deep roots of Amish Mennonite heritage, and resulted in the ongoing living experiment at the Lake Village Homestead community in Kalamazoo, MI. He is a well-known advocate of the preservation of farmland and the natural environment.
For the cover design I illustrated the book title quite literally including the main topics approached in the articles: education and the natural environment.
